The SKNDL team was out in full force at the Damn Am NYC 2022 contest. It was the team's first trip together and they were ready to compete and explore the city, visiting legendary skate spots along the way. With fierce competition on the horizon, a $3000 purse for the SKNDL Best Trick award was up for grabs - everyone knew it was going to be an amazing contest. Well, their hard work and hustle certainly paid off. Let’s take a look at what happened!

The Excitement Builds

The energy at LES Skatepark was electric as skaters from allover the world prepared for the big event. As competitors warmed up, spectators cheered them on shouting words of encouragement. Seeing the skaters show support and respect for each other, despite being competitors, was enough to restore our faith in humanity. Everyone in attendance knew it was going to bean awesome contest.

The Winners are Announced

At last, it was time for the contest winners and the winner of SKNDL Best Trick to be announced. Cordano Russell took home 1st place for the SKNDL Best Trick with an incredible nollie backside 360 shove-it board slide down a double set rail! Talk about impressive! Cordano received $2K in two-dollar bills plus a SKNDL skateboard deck as his prize. How awesome is that?
